“Reading is the seed from which knowledge grows.” — Dolly Parton
We LOVE Dolly's music,
and Dolly loves getting free books into the hands of children.

Imagination Library is Dolly Parton’s beloved book program, providing children from birth to age five with a free, high-quality book every month, delivered straight to their home. Here in Denver, more than 8,000 children are currently enrolled - and across Colorado, nearly 90,000 children receive books because of this program. Dolly had the vision and built the incredible infrastructure, but local communities fund the books. That’s where generous supporters like you come in.
How it works:
-
Each book costs $2.60 and is mailed to every enrolled child at no cost to families.
-
Half of the cost is funded by the Colorado Department of Early Childhood, and the remaining half is made possible by generous donors.
Why it matters:
-
Builds language and literacy skills from the very first months of life
-
Strengthens family bonds through the joy of shared reading
-
Sparks imagination and fosters a lifelong love of learning
How you can help:
$31 pays for a year of books for one child
$156 pays for five years of books for one child
