We became a Dolly Parton Imagination Library affiliate in 2014 because we love reading and want children to have access to books before they start school.

Like Dolly, we want to foster a love of reading among preschool kids and their families. We want all children to have the opportunity to enter kindergarten prepared and excited to learn. Literacy is the foundation of a great education and your help will help ensure all children have the same opportunity. The simple act of giving the gift of books may not seem like a big deal, but it will make a positive difference in a Denver child’s life. Dream more, Learn more, Care more, and help a kid Be More!

Sara Randall, Director

For the last decade, Sara has worked in the public relations & nonprofit industry focusing on children's health and well-being, including PDI Surgery Center.  After speaking with a Denver teacher regarding early childhood literacy, her decision to launch Imagination Library was solidified. She gathered a few friends to start a Denver affiliate. Her goal is to make sure every child in Denver has access to good books.

Her favorite children's book is Miss Mopp's Lucky Day.  She named her car after Scout from To Kill A Mockingbird.
